Need some good ol' Hunter wellies for myself and as a birthday present for my Dad.

Has anybody used this site before and if so, did you find it ok?

Just want to be sure before I spend €165 with them.

It's two pairs actually.

I see what you mean, but they're good quality and they last a long time as well

Any Agri supply stores should do hunters or the like... but in all fairness €165 for two pairs is a bit much! :eek:

I can remember forking out only €45 for wellies last year - and no problems with them.

I paid €8 in Lidl for my wellies. They keep my feet dry. What else are wellies supposed to do.

hhhmmm it seems no-one on here has actually bought from welly4u.

I did google them and they're recommended on a lot of websites and blogs such as beaut.ie - mainly because Kate Moss and others started a trend among women for wearing black hunter wellies.

Coming from someone that worked in the shoe trade years ago that's a fair bit of cash to be spending on wellies let alone everyday shoes. Sounds more like a fashion trend thing rather then actual function and comfort. I can't comment on the site you mentioned,only the price. I'm sure a good camping or fishing shop could recommend a good pair of wellies well under the price you quoted.

I have to say huge thanks - I'm just waiting for a confirmation on the postage for these, and if it's right I'll save about €50 !!

No worries. Always worth a quick search on Ebay for a better price. Hopefully the postage won't ruin a bargain. The mind boggles at the prices charged in Ireland sometimes.
