    OK, got a call back, and it's confirmed: no arrows anywhere on an Irish Ferries vessel, not even locked in a car.

    I think it might be a good idea to contact the Irish Sports Council and or the Irish Olympic Council as well as the IAAA about this. It has far reaching consequences for anyone participating in competition events in the UK, and especially relevant in the light of the Olympics coming to the UK.

    Competitors must be allowed to carry their sports equipment with them, otherwise, if this policy spreads to other forms of transport, the internation aspect of archery (and other sports) will die.
