Anyone have any recommendations for an affordable glockenspiel? I'm looking for something very similar to the one in this video:

I remember seeing a band in the Hub that used this exact Glockenspiel too, which is why I'm asking about this one. But if anyone knows of any similar available ones, I'm interested. Cheers.

Ones like that are around €20-50, rarely see them in Dublin though (I want one to) but I'm sure Thomann have one.

i picked up something similar a couple of months ago; €35 in Educational music services, 22 Mountjoy Square. There were 2 different types available, both the same price i think...

Cool, I've been looking for one myself since this thread was posted and haven't had any luck.

Presuming Yevvah already has one (and isn't going to make the trip out to Maynooth for one), I picked up a nice glockenspiel in K'n'B Music in Maynooth today.

Funnily I actually got a beauty down in Cork there during the Jazz Festival. Can't remember the name of the place, it's the fairly big one on MacCurtain St. Tis a soprano one (don't really know if they make other types though..) and it sounds beautiful. Well worth it!

    ps yevveh! :p
