    hi all ,

instead of tryin to explain tit for tats gonna get right into it ....

basically NTL is crap (in my area anyway) and the family is lookin for telly reception in 6 rooms ....

this was gonna be narrowed down to 4 rooms because we were gonna get Sky in , but the concept of mutliroom wasnt explained fully to a person in the family (i.e you need a box in each room if you dont want to be stuck watching the same thing) so sky was then dropped ...

so what are the options ?

Football , soaps and home affairs are the most watched in the house so for the living room , Sky or NTL will hav to be present in some shape of form (for Irish Channels and possibly Sky Sports)

so what are the options for the others ?

what other satellite packages are available , or what is available on freeview ?

    any help much appreciated

Keep the NTL analogue service (about €20) for extra rooms and just put Sky in the main room.

Of course you could also put multiroom in one or two other rooms.

NB Remember that with a Quab LNB you can only have 4 rooms or with Sky+/HD one room with sky+ and two other rooms.

More rooms is possible but will be costly.
