Anyone know any places in Dublin that do Amature wrestling? I want to be a pro wrestler but I am not going to train until I go to America in two years, so I guess this will give me the ground skills.

Also anyone know what the best martial arts class would be in relation to pro wrestling, I did do MMA last year and loved it but it was a bit too far away to be honest. I need something closer.

    Thanks.

NWA Ireland train in some style of shoot-fighting as well as pro-wrestling

I'd suggest BJJ or amateur wrestling. You're really not going to find anything that close to pro-wrestling, but those two arts would be as good a preparation as you could get really

Pro-wrestling and martial arts can be similar to a fan, but for a practitioner, acting classes and stunt work would probably be better for a pro-wrestler!

Take Judo. The breakfall practice will help you land in the ring.

It's NWA Ireland who are based in Bray, IWW have their gym up in Baldoyle

The thing is, you won't gain much skill-wise from MA training (in relation to pro-wrestling). It'll help with the discipline and fitness though

Agreed-better of going to gymnastics or stunt school or something. as pro wrestling is just acting and not fighting in any way.

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.
