some tube amps

right seen as my old valvestate packed in there last week its time to go amp shoppin. i was looking for a nice valve combo for blues and classic rock. i was looking at a few but i cant really make up my mind. i was looking at the 1962 marshall bluesbreaker 30 watt combo, the tsl 601, the orange rocker 30 and some of the fender stuff! could anyone give me some advice on them? especially the bluesbreaker as i saw some vids of them on youtube and they sound great!(always nice to get a second opinion though!)

fender all the way if you ask me.

beautiful sound and reliable as hell.

i'm pretty sure there's a few avid fender tube amp fans around here and rightly so.

Id highly recommend going second hand for a valve amp. www.buyandsell.ie, you can easily pick up some bargains!

My Valvestate is on it's last legs too.....i need a new amp for pub gigs.

Just bought a Marshall JVM 100w combo.....savage....9 valves....4 channels....makes the old Valvestate sound like the tv.

They are the cheapest around for Marshall......if you are going for the 30w Marshall Bluesbreaker, check out the gak.co.uk site......guarantee they will be the cheapest around......postage for my 40kg box was £26 (Sterling)

yeh its 800 quid cheaper than musicstorer! im torn between the marshall and the orange though!

i believe that marshalls are not great at the moment
(no first hand experience, just what I hear)

it would be fender first, then orange IMO

If you have the money and want somthing that youl never have to upgrade id go the bogner route. Savage tone off those things.

Hard to beat a Gibson Les Paul Standard through the all valve Marshall.

Big bucks, but it's feels worth it.

Im actually thinkin bout buyin the orange rocker 30 at the moment, been reading lots of reviews and nothin but good things being said about it,supposedly houses some really cool, unique tones. Im sure its a good bit cheaper than the bluesbreaker also. But i guess its really subject to what your lookin for in an amp.
