    Playing the RDS on May 19th '08, in the main hall, thinkin of going to this gig from listening to his Albert Hall gigs. Was just wondering how was he when he played here last time, think it was a year or so ago, any reviews?? Cheers!

    I went to see him when he did his Shangri La tour 2 years ago and it was brilliant! he played a very good mix of his solo stuff and also Dire Straits stuff. if you're a fan of either then I would highly reccomend you go. I shall probably be going to this one as well. do you know what price the tickets will be / are?

    Think tickets are around the 55 mark. I went to see him in the point that time too. I was quite impressed. Played more Dire Straits than I was expecting. Smaller venue would be nice, but that's not going to happen. I'd recommend you go. Can't make it myself unfortunately.

    You have got to see this man live - he is an absolute legend!

    i went last year (the point) and as the other poster said - the venue was a little too big - but it was packed solid. Well worth the money........ imo!
