I hope this becomes a common trend. Thanks to blu-rays huge storage the collectors edition of Stranglehold contains the classic Woo movie Hard Boiled in HD within the actual game disc.

Unfortunately its only available in North America but its been confirmed by Midway as region free and its available from VG+ for 55 euro. Its released next week.

Sorry if this is old news - i couldn't find a thread about it.

Thats a nice idea. Im not a huge fan of the game though. Is hardboiled good? I was thinking of renting it.

I played the demo all the way through about 10 times on the xbox. I'll probably get it but the reviews have said it can get a bit repetitive, is very short and the online mode is pants. have to say i really enjoyed what i played in the demo though.

I've played the PS3 demo twice, and really enjoyed it. The preview trailer of the full game at the end of the demo is good also.

The review that I have seen states it's very similar to Max Payne. Gives a total play time of 7 hours. It does say that the game is very enjoyable and also that the visuals are good.

Some things within the game that I enjoyed; 'Tequila' time & precision shooting and the fact that the surroundings are destructible. i.e. shoot a sign over an enemy to see it crash down on top of them.

Review suggests it's a 'rent it' title, but with the SE version available online for under €60 I think it would be worth buying.

'Tequila' time? Is that what they're calling bullet time? bwahah that's great.

7 Hours of game play though? What a load of pants. I'm one of these horrible freaks that when I buy a game I pretty much just sit down and play it till I've beaten it. 7 hours of gameplay makes me want to cry.

The demo got very repetative - very quickly. Dragging out 10 hours like that, I'd rather not!

If anyone does get it though, let us know if the movie is region free.

Apparently the disc (i.e. game & movie) was to be region locked.

Has been confirmed on Midway discussion forums that it is now region free.
