    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has ever gone to Lapland on one of these 1 or 3 day breaks.

Also, do you think 41/2 year old is too young to go or would they really enjoy it ?

    Thanks

Thought you meant 41 year old for a second lol!

4 / 5 is the right age to bring kids to lapland. They would genuinely enjoy it...

A colleague of mine took his kids there last year and there was no snow!! I think
there were callers to Liveline around the same time with grievances regarding their trips. Apparently, it's extremely expensive, and if there's no snow, I don't think there's a lot to do.
I'd say do a lot of homework before booking this.

Ah, good advice, thanks very much,
That would just be disastrous going up to see the elves and santa with no snow !!!!
Yeah, it is expensive, works out around 5-600 euro per person just for the day trip which is alot, way I figure though, they're only that age once, be worth it as a once off "I hope"

I agree, absolutely - it would be magical, a once-off kind of thing and it may even be worth every penny! - Just be prepared and arm yourself with as much info as possible.
