Anyone remember this creepy kids show?

    It was on RTE around 1983/84. It featured a boy named Simon and there was some sort of rock that would talk to him - it would spookily whisper "Sim-onnnn" to him :confused: whenever it needed to give him a message. Well scary. Don't know if it was long-running or just a few episodes. What I do remember is that it was replaced by The Witches and the Grinnygog. Also very spooky. I think RTE deliberately had a scary slot every week for a while. Sapphire and Steel also used to be on that night - whatever day it was. How I looked forward to this scaryfest every week.

    the only show i can think of with a boy called Simon was 'eere Indiana' around 1992 though. It was a bout majic and wierd goings on in a smell town in Masachussetts (sp???)

    Actually I've been doing a bit of research and Children of the Stones seems like a close match. But there was no character called Simon in that. I'm definite he was called Simon.

    nah,children of the stones was out a decade earlier,the kid was called matthew and i have the series on dvd if anybody wants to buy it pm me.

    Anybody remember King of The castle?It was very early seventies and creepy as hell,i cant find any info on it.

    Yep. I think his name was spelt Pota'arc or something like that. I can't find anything on the net.
