Heading to dcu 2morrow

    ok guys going to dcu tomorrow , im so worried my stomach will be going off , because i have 3 hours in a row !, im wondering if the helix is that bad that my overloud stomach will be heard !! also will the helix be really quiet or abit of talkin among the students!!

    well id say it will be quiet, but there is no need to stay the whole time, its completly optional as far as i can remember

    i no but i feel i have to go if ya know what i mean !! will my stomach noises be heard or barely noticed

    The Helix? Ooooh snazzy. I had my orientation in the pit as far as I remember. Ugh.
    I would advise you to stay for the intro, grab the map and find the bar. Then once you've established that its closed, head to the Slipper on the Ballymun road

    I'm in tomorrow as well.

    I have to collect my card at 9:45 - and then I have, obviously, the same orientation lectures as you from 2-5pm.

    I think I'll probably end up at all of them, and the following day's ones as well. I just wish I knew someone other than myself who was going to DCU...

    In some ways you're lucky because it'll stop you from being comfortable with one or two people you already know and force you to really get involved with other people right from the start. Just know that almost everyone is in the same situation as you so just go for it and don't worry.
