Alloy wheel spacer

    Hi. I need spacers cos my new alloys do not fit. They are too close to the brake calipers. Has anybody used these. Are they safe? Thank you.

    Spacers are safe, yes, but they put extra load on your wheel bearings which means replacing them a few miles earlier than normal. IIRC, if your car is FWD, it will have a slightly wider track at the front than the rear to counter-act understeer, but if you use the same spacer sizes all round this shouldn't be an issue.

    Anyone know who i could get to fit spacers for alloys for my car, as the new alloys are too close to the callipers

    get the hubcentric spacers if your gonna get any.
