When do you weigh yourself?

I weigh a lot more in the evenings than in the morning, presumably because I'm full of food and more hydrated.
What should I take as my correct weight?

Doesn't matter really once you're consistently weighing yourself at the same time or with the same amount of food etc. Most people use the morning as you know you'll have an empty stomach then.

First thing in the morning, after peeing but before dressing. That should give you your lowest consistant weight. Weight can fluctuate by up to 10lb over a day, depending on food and hydration.

I was 70kg yesterday morning (and usually ever morning) and 74kg in the evening. This was after a day of trying to get into the Guinness book of records for most protein eaten from eggs, fish, tuna, yogurt, chicken, etc. God I was stuffed

That's when I always weigh myself, my weight can change like crazy throughout the day too so I choose to get on the scales at the kindest time of the day.

LIke trib said though, it doesn't really matter so long as you're consistant with it!

Use the same scales too. It is like BF%, you want the same device and same person measuring the same places.

Your scales might be off by 5kg, that doesnt matter too much, it is changes you want to track most of the time.

I put on about 6lb in about 1 hour the other day, drinking water & beer after being dehydrated.

I wonder would it be better to only weigh yourself only once every one or two weeks?

Because I think a more objective measurement would be if you can fit more easily into your jeans, or whatever clothes.

Usually on Monday after the gym in the morning, have sweated out the evils of the weekend and see where I am for the week... then again on Wednesday to try and keep consistent.

I don't bother with regular weighing, the mirror is the best imo
