I need cheap but decent travel insurance for a trip to Aus. May even look into an annual policy. Anyone know who give the best deal?

Cheapest I ever found was Go. http://www.gotravelinsurance.co.uk/

UK web address but an Irish company.

PS: Search function on Boards hasn't worked in about a year methinks.

Cheap travel insurance is not necessarily the best thing to get - you should concentrate on the policy term and conditions and what's covered or not, rather than the cost of the policy..

But anywho.. have you thought of perhaps travelling over to the Travel & Holidays forum? There's a big ol sticky there with all sorts of handy links...

I've used Justcover for around five years now. Excellent communication and no problems.

To be honest, I only get insurance cos you have to.

For the loss of items up to about 250, there's no point in claiming.
