Good Night to go out in Galway

    One of my friends is getting married. We're all only 21-22 and we're thinking of throwing a surprise stag for him and bringing him down to Galway for a night out because we had a good trip down there when we were 16 or so. We can only go down during the week, Tuesday or Wednesday, so we were wondering which would be a better night for going out down there, are there any student nights or anything where there'd be a good crowd out?

    Student night is normally Thursday night, but either Tuesday or Wednesday would see a good student crowd out.

    tbh any night apart from Monday is a good night to go out in Galway, there's always something going on, and quite a few places now that are open till 2am every night of the week. Bar903 and Roisins for example (to name just two) are free till 2am, every single night - and there's always the paying clubs (GPO, CPs, Halo, Karma, Cuba...)

    And if it's a stag do then of course the old strip club down Dominick St...

    I usually go out on Wednesdays meself, tends to be slightly busier than Tuesday.

    Monday night is the horror show night when the human wreckage of a heavy weekend go out for the cure. Not pretty.
