Hi id love to get into boxing, but first off i would like too become more fit and better toned.im about 5ft 5./5ft 5 and half and 10 st 4 lbs.i not fat and i just have a bit of a belly, nothin major and nothin that i cant sort out in a few weeks.id like to have a personal trainer who knows the boxing scene and can guide me better as at the moment i dont know much about how boxing works, like i know some basics of boxing but i of course need a lot more than that,i know people are going to say just join a club but i dont think im fit enough for that yet,id like to meet with someone first and discuss boxing and train and then join a club.honestly im also a bit nervous walking into a club without previously knowing anybody.so in short i would be willing to pay someone to meet up with me and disccus ,further advise and maybe even train me further for the boxing,so anybody available here?

In the meantime, get yourself a jump rope.. jump for round intervals. Go for daily jogs and interval with sprints. Get yourself a heavybag to hit on your own time.. and if you have a friend, get him to hold focus pads for you to hit. You might find an online tutorial for how to hold and hit them properly.. combos etc..

If you told us what city you are in, it might help you find someone better.

i've been doing this for years now-good to see phil get involved, 1 on 1 training is far superior as you can easily teach good technique and focus on the lad your training..

I recommend Paul as I think he may be an even better coach than he was a boxer and he was a top notch boxer......

i train most people in swords jackie skellys, price is standard half hour personal training rates, as its very intense and 30 mins is loads so you get charged for half an hour personal training, even for competitive boxers 30 mins is tough as its at my pace not there's-pm me if you want to know more,
