If anyone has any tips for Vegas i'd appreciate them.

Looking to play Limit and No Limit holdem at 1-2, 1-3 levels. Staying in the MGM.

Whats the MGM cardroom like, seem nice enough from the pictures and gets a decent rating on the card room sites. Recommend any other rooms?

Do I need to fill out some tax form or something for your winnings? remember someone saying something like this before the wsop in the vegas thread.

As I'm on honeymoon Im not sure how much i'll get to play but hoping for about 20hrs action and hopefully a little profit.

MGM cardroom is quite comfortable and very soft, as are most places. Also has a decent number of games running

You will not need to fill out any forms for playing cash games and cashing out. If you cash big in a tournament, the casino will do the paperwork for you and give you all your winnings

MGM isnt the worst place to play i just ran badly there, but Ceasars Palace 1-3 game is a great place to play i must say. its a 500 cap and lots of high rolling low-ballers play there...

The hotdogs in the MGM are ok for a late night snack but be expecting a couple of visits to the jacks after them! The briskets are disgusting...

As far as the poker goes, MGM is pretty soft and theres usually games going at all hours of the day. It tastiest between about 2-6am.

I found the mirage to be soft as f-ck cash game wise. The poker tables are in the middle of the slots and roulette tables, so it's full of people who got lucky and decide to blow their money playing poker.

Played MGM at the weekend, was pretty nice venue and the games were very soft, didn't stop me losing of course.
