Hey, just looking for any info or feedback from anyone who may have used this site. Is it reliable to be getting tickets from? I know they do a lot of gigs in England, but do they post over here? And also whats the deal with their service charges? Is it generally cheaper than ticketmaster? Just that there are tickets coming out on Tuesday that I really wanna get, and if they may be that slight bit cheaper, then I'm all for them. Maybe, for example, are they the equivalent of the Wav tickets over here?

I've used seetickets a few times when I'm buying tickets to concerts over in the UK but what I've found is that they never post the ticket to you in the post even though you select that method when you're buying the ticket. They will always wait til the last minute to send tickets out and by that time they say it's too late to send it in the post so you have to pick it up at the box office. I prefer using Ticketmaster in that sense, at least you'll know you'll get the ticket in the post if you use them.

seetickets are the ones who do the Glasto tickets so I'd say they're pretty trustworthy, as was said I don't think they have an overseas mailing policy so just select box office collection

Ok cool, cheers peeps, may just go for TM instead. Unless, one more thing, are the seetickets designed out on cool paper? Not like the generic blue of TM. It'd prob be worth the wait of having the ticket.

Ah yeah, but I want it to look cool. Sure I bought tickets from Wav the other day so as not to buy them from Ticketmaster. They just look better in the sea of blue, green, grey on my wall now.

I would never use see tickets again. They take your money and there is only a 50/50 chance you'll recieve ur tickets in time and there customer service do not get me started.

My advice would be stay miles away from seetickets.

ps they owe me 150 euro from last sept..not sure what to do.

Only real problem I had was arriving at a gig in Nottingham and the tickets werent waiting for me but some calls were made and it was sorted but I guess that totally depends on the gig/venue if it would be so easy if the same happened again.

See Tickets are a fairly large company and do all the major acts. Personally I hate them though, quite a few bad experiences with them.

As mentioned, don't expect to see your tickets arrive thru the letterbox mostt likely you're picking them up from the Box Office on the night even though you're forced to pay Postage fees.

I avoid them where possible, although still have to use them occasionally.

I was told my an acquitance of mine, a UK promoter who uses the service, that Seetickets is a joint venture between an Irish promotion company and LiveNation (the European arm of Clear Channel). This was backed up by another UK promoter that I know. I haven't checked the companies office in the UK so I cannot confirm this myself.

Ah it was all in vain folks. They released the tickets yesterday, which sold out in 2 mins. Then TM released theirs today, which sold out in 2mins, and as for me, well, I'm still off to see QOTSA in Bristol:D Booya!
