How would I add this satellite to an Fta box when it's not on the preset satellite list?

    Try

    Menu
    Antenna Setup
    Key 2 (to add satellite)
Key 1 (to rename satellite to Eurobird3)
    Scroll to LNB TPYE
Key V+ (Right) to select Universal

If you are using USALS, scroll down to POSITIONER, then key V+ to select USALS then OK. Enter Eurobird3's position and your LAT/LONG.

    Hope this helps.

Not sure about the bit where you say Enter Eurobird's position and my Latitude/Longitude. I don't see a place to enter these numbers.

If you press OK when USALS is highlighted, you should get in to it.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, after quite a while trying I couldn't find the satellite.
I found a satellite that had SkyDSL on it as well as a channel called 'HOL 180' and nothing else. And from googling Hol 180, I found out that this channel is at 33degrees East like Eurobird, but I couldn't find any of the other channels that should be on this sat. I know 33 has 2 sats-Eurobird 3 and Intelsat 802, so it could be that I'm just getting Intelsat. but I did change the elevation and lnb and then rescanned many times with no success.

Are there any tips to try and get this particular sat?

Try scanning transponder 11165 V 1667. You should get Rete Oro which I get at about 76% quality in north Meath with a 1M dish.

Fox Turk, which is showing the West Ham v Boro game at the moment is a weaker signal on 11111 H 3125 but still has a good picture.

What is your dish size Christo82 ?

    80cm. Maybe not big enough?

I was trying to get the Man Utd game this morning. It's good to know that that channel does actually the Premiership, cos I had had some conflicting info about that.

Thanks for all your help Brian

Hope to get it up and running for Man Utd v Chelsea next Sunday.

A bigger dish would definitely help Christo. My 1M dish is just about OK in clear weather but when it rains it kills Foxturk which I only get at about 68/69% quality at the best of times.

SkyDSL is definitely 33'E. It's a satellite broadband provider. You can even get a special dual LNB for 28.2'E and 33'E on the same dish, for people who want English channels and satellite broadband.

Is that like the Monobloc thingy?

It seems FTA Premiership on Fox TV has left 33deg East according to liveonsat.com

    http://liveonsat.com/foot_english_all.php

If anyone has this satellite tuned in already, can they check if this is true. There should be a game starting at 4.15. A previous one was at 2.00.
I was planning to try get things set up for the Man U v Chelsea match tomorrow.

    Cheers
