Came upon the Leinster paranormal site having seen it mentioned a couple of times on this board, never heard of it and it looks cool.
What caught my interest though was something in the opening paragraph of the welcome page.What is it exactly that they are looking for?? as they say "we have an interest in all things unexplained, in other words things that go DUMP in the night".Well I can explain that one:rolleyes: , that would be me I have a terrible habit of getting up in the middle of the night and dumping a load off.Glad to see someones showing an interest in my habit as my girlfriend hates it and says the splashing keeps waking her up:D .

Typos aside, they do have a very cool website that's well worth a look, some cool pics and audio files to download. And of course some of their members post on here too, and very nice people they are indeed.

I hadn't actually been to the website in ages, I love the look of it.

Me being from Dublin I wonder if anyone from leinster paranormal here would know of anywhere worth investigating that would be near enough to north Dublin.Really in the mood this weekend to do something.Or would it be possible to join leinster paranormal group?.

I've no idea if they take members or not, I'm sure one of them will pop by shortly and answer. They have a forum there too, which is very good, altough not quite as good as this one , I'm sure you could sign up there and ask them about joining

Apart from anything else, medically, if you regularly get up in the middle of the night to take a dump, you should probably check with your GP.

A healthy individual shouldn't wake up to do No. 2, so doing so can be an underlying symptom of a greater problem such as Crohn's disease.


Secondly, read the charter before posting in this forum again.

any way i am one of the members of leinster paranormal its great bunch of people just ordanairy joe soaps like myself that have a intrest in the world of paranormal,we have 2 mediums in the group that are told nothing they have to find it out themselves,myself or cormac would know the history and thats it.most of the investagations are private houses i prefer them that way because the likes of castles the mediums can find out the info via website and that takes the fun out it.we also have more video that has to be put on the website.as we are based in carlow its sometimes hard to make appoinments with people in the likes of dublin so i think soon enough we will be bringing in 3 new members to work in the dublin area,ill keep you posted on that,thanks for checking the site.

I am a member of this team also and as Danny said we are a group of normal group of people who are interested in the paranormal and everything we have done is done off our own backs. With people coming along to investigations etc it would be quite difficult as most, well all so far have been done in private homes and as a rule which is written i hope for all who do this is that privacy for these people is of utmost importance. The site has been a little slow to take off but we have had some interesting footage and audio taken which I would like to see put up here for some scrunity but as said a lot was taken in private residence and permission would have to be sought out first. We all have our area we work in and our particular interest for coming together and so far its working out for us.

As for the bump in night cheeky next time I hope the bump is you hitting the floor after the girlfriend push you out only joking :rolleyes:

i can quite honestly say theres no viruses (is that virii?) on the leinsterparanormal site. its run from a linux server and I set the site up myself (plus I maintain the server) - as far as Im aware it would probably be more likely a windows 2003 server that would have a virus infection to force malicious downloads and all that technical jargon.

Just want to reassure anyone .. its a virus free server its running from.

as kim mentioned, we do have some interesting bits of audio but they're from private residences .. though the audio in that video on the LP site might be of interest ......

we're looking to record audio or video in apparent 'paranormal' locations that logic won't explain. thats one element, and my own personal aim. Our two mediums also wish to develop their own abilities and people like me find that a perfect way to get a better understanding of exactly what mediumship is. Its a nice combination of cold hard logical examination of recorded information with feeling and information picked up by the mediums.

Then we take all this information, write up a report, gather up the video, audio and documented information and store it on CD as a record of what we experienced. The theory behind that is that someday maybe enough information will be gathered from groups like leinster paranormal throughout the world that might help us understand what this whole paranormal malarky is all about. Mightnt be as entertaining as most haunted and means hours of reviewing recordings of silence and video where nothing happens but its a start.

i with you there my friend,i hour of audio or video can take up to a month to analyze,but thats what makes it fun ,,,,,,,,,,,not:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
