Wireless signal very low

    I have just allowed a house mate access to my ntl 2mb and have run a speed test here: 184286315.png

    My problem is that my wireless signal has dropped to very low. It was excellent before this. I thought there would be a drop in signal but not that dramatic. I am 3m from router:confused:

    For a 2 Mbps connection, that seems rather good. Upload could be a little higher however.

    I missed the rest of the OP's post :o

    Valid point made by AdrianII. Try changing the channel used by your router. Cordless phones, wireless video senders, microwaves and other devices are notorious for causing erratic wifi behaviour.
