    Anyone heard of these?

They seem like a cheap and convenient way to avoid using clipless pedals for commuting. Anyone tried them/know if they're any good, or whether they're sold in Ireland? I've only been able to find them on evanscycles.com.

i used to use them before i went clipless about 15 years ago i always found the only problem was that you tend to cut off the circulation to your toes cos they tighten as you twist.
tend to fairly hard on the uppers of shoes as far as i remember
i'm amazed you can still get them
