Laptop to router to wireless

    I can receive wireless internet on my laptop but only in one location. Can i connect a router to my laptop and transmit that wireless signal to other computers in other rooms. I do not have access to the wireless router that I am receiving a wireless connection from. If not is there anyway of getting this result?:)

    What do you mean in only one location? In only one room or a certain area like a table or something? As far as I know you can't broadcast wireless signals from your laptop, maybe I'm wrong though, I've just never heard of it before

    Is this access in a room next to your neighbours by any chance?
