Not sure which one of these to go for Reviews on both of these seem to be pretty good but i did hear that DBoys AEGs tend to be a bit inconsistent in their power from gun to gun. Does an extra €50 justify the M4

No, The DE UMP is worth E150 IMHO. Super accurate for a 100mm barrell! ROF slightly low but that means the 500rnd hicap lasts.

personally id pick dboys over DE, and id pick an m4 over a ump, so that's my preference anyway, i got the full metal dboys m4a1 last week and i love it

Ah, but I dont see the appeal in armalites and like the UMPs asthetics. DE Havent got a 100% recored but the ump has no problems.

fuzzy what do you want to buy? no one can really tell you what you want....i too have a dboys and m4's up the yanger....so i love m4's, but get whatever you want...lethal has a de and loves it, kd has an m4 and loves it..i love mine...buy one, if you like both...trust me doesnt really matter which you buy, you will get the second eventually...look at the people here...every one an addict...jesus we even have people who like the FAL for gods sake...at least you havent plumbed those depths yet...LOL

I'll agree to that. The angles and shapes going on with the design are great. I'm still going from pictures though. Haven't seen one in person yet.

I may add a section to the forum charter making FAL bashing a banning offense.. just thought I'd warn you before hand

If I were him and I liked the two, I'd go with the UMP as it's more unique at a skirmish. Everyone has a m4. They're so common it's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure my gran has one about somewhere.

Personally i dont have much of a problem against Fal's They do make my own guns look that little bit better

Well I've just gone and ordered the M4. Next month will be the UMP, followed by a FAL, possibly followed by a para FAL if I can find one.... damn it!!! I need more money!!!

on topic, id pick the Ump meself purely for the uniqueness factor and Lethal bullet seems to think its good, im not overly fond off either choice though.

The FN-FAL is my favorite rifle in the entire world!
I think its a thing of beauty. In a world where
real steel firearms are looking more and more like
plastik star trek phasers the FN retains its
"this is a gun" look.

When you buy an airsoft you want it to look like the real thing.
An airsoft is a toy/sporting goods.
when a real steel firearm looks like a toy or plastic sci-fi thingemebob in real steel.
and then you buy an airsoft version of one. you are getting a toy of something
that looks like a toy. I much prefer something old school looking, long
big heavy and mean looking.

getting back on topic....

I was also in a situation where I was gonna do a toss up between
a D-Boys M4 and an Double Eagle UMP.

M4 won............but I still want the UMP cos it looks cool. (Future buy from Shiva) one thing that swayed my judgment was that down the local market
where they sell the ****e springers the brands they were selling were
double eagle with the cheap yellow bb's with the mold lines/flashing on them.
It was enough to put me off the brand.

had the same problem choosing until i tried a Dboy M4 at HRTA not so long ago , great over all piece of kit ,and as u can see ppl have different tastes in weapons here

Fal is not bad looking ,compared to the FN2000 that one ugly mother

get out to HRTA and have a look at what is being used ,and try some weapons out , it will make the decision easier

best bit of advise yer going get out of this thread methinks. some guns just dont suit certain people.Looking at picture's etc doesnt always give ya a clear indication of the feel and or ergonomics of the piece.

There should be a new UMP by CYMA. The new guns from CYMA seem to be really good. Especially the new M14 and the Tommygun. I personally want to buy an M14 (CM032). The next gun will be the M14. I've also heard about a Scout version of the M14 by CYMA.
