This is normally ok, I got my pass in the post yesterday. Probably head to the first two lectures. I know one of the speakers well enough.

My place has a stand at it for the first time, not attending it myself.

A lot of the folks who were at the self build gig are there: the IT bit is just all sorts of software: accounting/estimating.

Best toy I saw was a full heat imaging camera at 17k!

should have added there are some tool shops there: McQuillans for one, plus deWalt.

Equipment and tools were poorly represented, eg no BOSCH!!
Also range of equip was very limiting pretty much at the cheap/DIY end, apart from DeWalt who had a reasonable stand, Makita was poorer and Hitachi was even worse on the McQuillans stand. Plenty of the 'in' eco burners but all in all 4/10 for overall relevance.

I mean there was a stand selling Oil Paintings but no one selling Compactors.

Free entry and feedback form exhibitors was that attendance was lowish ie quiet.

Definitely going down in terms of scale and relevance.
