offer ends April 30 2008

Thats a bit strange. The Page looks like "impulse" buying but the time frame is very long.

Can anyone shed some more light on this ?

offer ends April 30 2008

This is possibly because schools/colleges will be finished around May 2008 so if you are a student and need it for studenty work you won't be needing it in the summer!!

Doubt it's available to us Irish looking at the Microsoft press release. Today it's available to Canada, America, and UK.

You also ideally need to have an email address from your school/college/university.

    60.00 USD=43.1807 EUR

So thats not too bad :D

If you have a UK address. I dont think college email address should be a problem
Every college does not provide email address :D

Also you can buy it when you were student and use it when you are not student :p

Looks like its only a trial with 25 launches

    No that is the trial

anyone can download the trial and that is how it works in this case you can download the trial use it for 25 launches and then if you want pay $60 for a license.
Or of course you could skip the trial and pay $60 straight off and get a full license key

Here is the UK offer http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/eligibility.asp you have to have a .ac.uk email address
