Villian is 24/15/1.9 over 130 hands. I'm 20/15 over the same.
Its been folded around a few times and he's raised almost every time and I've generally let him just take it.

FWIW i'm not mad about the hand from start to finish..your line looks so much like a bluff that you could be called down with AQ and be instacalled on the river

Does betting 100 on river achieve same result and save 22BBs if you don't get through?

lol i guess. A while back I got check-raised on a river on a hand where I had a draw that missed. I had something like 6 high and had to throw it away getting like 8-1 or the likes. I felt there was a good chance he had check-raised bluffed me. I'm constantly in fear of it happening again! I suppose its time to put that trauma behind me and save the 22bbs!

He folded here after an eternity.

My thinking here after the flop and turn action, plus his check on the river - was that if he has TT,JJ,QQ,KQ,KJ its a very tough call. If he has AA,KK,99,22,44,AK he's sandbagged me brilliantly and i'm dead. If he has AQ he'll probably call but I don't see why he should call on the flop.

Some questions about fold equity in this situation cause I don't think i fully grasp it.
Suppose I put him on the range of hands above. I decide he will call with all sets, AK and AQ. I decide he will fold TT,JJ,QQ,KQ,KJ.

So of the 86 possible holdings I have put him on he will call with 36(42%) and fold 50(58%).
I'm betting in this situation $145 to win $124 so he has to fold 54% of the time for this to be a good play. But I've no equity in the pot - unless he has JT QJ or the like and I've the best hand anyway. So all I have is folding equity and it seems to be very difficult to figure out as he may have any number of hands not in the range assigned or he may not act accordingly(could fold bottom set or call with TT).
Also from his point of view he is getting 1.85-1 on a call so he has to be good only 35% of the time. So if he has KQ and decides he's good 36% of the time he calls. But I thought he would fold that 58% of the time - d'oh!

My actual thinking on the river in the fifteen seconds was of course more along the lines of "I'll shove - geez I hope he doesn't call" lol

So it all comes down to my line in the hand. I agree that it looks like a bluff but don't know if I could find a call with KQ against someone who had been offering little resistance up to this in the blinds. Of course if he calls with KQ he should call with KJ,QQ,JJ,TT so my fold equity calculation is all arseways.

Does any of this make sense or should I just stop smoking grass with that Polish guy at work?
