heading to hungary and slovakia in november on a backpacking trip. will a quilted parka jacket be surfice over a t-shirt/shirt for the trip? I don't want to bring jumpers and although the jacket is bulky...at least I won't have 2 or 3 of them. What do you think? Is it a good idea to leave the jumpers at home and just bring the jacket and t-shirts underneath(will i be warm enough)...or should i leave the jacket at home and bring 2 or 3 jumpers?

    cheers

Remember that it mostly the air trapped within your clothes that keeps you warm. That is why layers are so useful.

I'll be in Central Europe in November, and I will expect to wear t-shirt, shirt, and quilted jacket most days. But you might be made of hardier stuff than I am!
