Grouping similar taskbar items

Hi

My IT dept have made changes to my profile at work. Previously if I had several excel files open at the same time they would all group on the one tab at the bottom (ie) as if you have one copy of Excel open. However now each file is taking up a different tab at the bottom (as if I have several copies of Excel open)

I have right clicked on the task bar and made sure that there is a tick in the box for "Group similar taskbar items together" but it doesnt change anything.

Is there anything else I can try?

Actually just got it sorted (Tools, options, unticking Windows in Taskbar option)
