THIS CAME TO MY CLUBS EMAIL. IM PASSING IT ON AS NONE OF OUR MEMBERS CAN ASSIST. CAN ANYONE ELSE HELP THIS WOMEN OUT?

I am currently in pre-production with the Cork based production company Opera 2005 for the up coming performance of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" which will take place in The Cork Opera House from October 4th -Oct 8th coming.
The scene is set in American 1940's and as props master I am doing my utmost to please both designer and audience alike.
One request I have yet to fulfill is that of an American 1940's Automobile to take the spotlight on the Opera House stage for four performances.
While I understand all of your club members automobiles are amongst their prized possessions, any leads or contacts you may be able to make available to me to get me closer to the possibility of either borrowing or somehow acquiring a suitable automobile for what otherwise is shaping up to be an amazing production are both welcomed and highly appreciated. Makes and models of cars at this point in time are relevant to me only in as far as they are in keeping with the period, either just before or spanning the 40,s.
Please make my query and details available to all of your members and feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail with any information or your own inquiry's.
    Thank you for your time,
    Ellen Blake Fayer,
    Props Master Opera 2005

not sure if this helps, but a dealer called Delaney autos have three 1940's Chryslers for sale. they aren't all in fab condition, but you never know, they could be just the thing! they have a website, i think its delaneyautos.com or something.
