    http://www.skyscanner.net

    Try

From Ireland (Any Airport) to Liverpool

It will give you a list of flights for different airlines.

Have you tried looking for flights to Manchester? its only 40-45 mins away and if Utd are playing away from home that w/end you might get a good deal!

Rail tickets in Briatain can be very expensive BUT if you book long enough in advance they should be cheap enough.

there are a good few airports that you could fly into bud, manchester, liverpool, blackpool, doncaster, leeds, birmingham, you might end up spending a few quid on a train to manchester but sure what harm, just dont cut it fine , time wise getting to the match in case of any delays, and if your looking for cheap accom in manchester, try travel lodge, they do special deals on a certain amount of rooms for something like £26

Going to that match myself with 2 mates. :) We're flying Ryanair to Doncaster (1c each way well €55 after the usual taxes etc), car rental to Liverpool (2 days for €30 each) and hotel £70stg each. There's bargains to be had if you look hard enough. Only booked it all on Saturday.

I fly with ryanair a lot, prolly twice a week.

Often the prices tumble a few days before. I have seen flights reduce from €229 to €20 3 days from the departure.

    Not always mind...
