Tough Tourney Spot (Push, Push, Push)

Just after the rebuy period in Scalps tourney in Fitz, plenty of play left. I'm on the button sitting on an average stack, Cut-off has above average stack, UTG and SB have less than average but are still comfortable enough.

    Action:

    UTG limps,
Folded to the Cutt-off who raises 4 times the big blind
I look down at AKo and flat call (thoughts?)
SB now goes into tank and eventually pushes
    BB Folds
    UTG re-pushes
    Cutt-off pushes after brief pause
At this point, SB forgets that I am in the hand and exposes AQo
    Action?

    Reads:
UTG had been loose before the break and was willing to gamble more than most.
Cutt-off is a decent regular from what I know.
SB is a young player and has just moved to our table

Re-raise instead of flat calling - cut down on the number of players you'll be up against post flop.

As it is, fold. You're in a 4 way gang bang with a hand that needs to hit, and you have a known out missing.

God knows that everyone else is holding.

    I would fold.

Not sure that you need a read on the SB :)

    Approximate Stacks

    UTG 8000
    CO 20000
    ME 16000
    SB 10000

    Blinds 100/200

:D LLoyd, There's play alright but it doesn't seem like anybody wants it!

gosplan, I felt his range was much wider than AA,KK...but i can see how it looks here.

Assuming you're not being dominated by AA KK, do you make the call here with 1 of you're outs missing?

It probably is but that's a big part of his range as with the CO. Basically there's been some very very strong moves made against you. It's almost guaranteed that there's a big pair out there somewhere and there's a strong chance that it's kings or aces leaving you drawing to 2 or 0 outs(barring miracle straight or KK board).

I can't see you being much better then 25% to take down the hand and can see you being a lot worse.

As played, AK here is really an insta-fold.If you call here, youre in the world of pain. You've very little invested, you've loads of chips in comparrison to the blinds, just fold and play on.

Yes fold - if you did nicely played throughout.

    Result:

UTG had JJ and Cut-off turned up with QQ.

Flop came KKx which kinda made the hand stick in my head obv.

As most ppl said, it probably was a clear fold given the action. Didn't regret the fold but did regret not re-raising initially, still not sure which is best. Im leaning on the side of call and not rr. Opponent dependant I guess. I think his stack deterred me from re-raising and I had a fair bit of respect for his play so didn't want to play too many big pots against him, even with position.
    He knew I had AK as I mucked. I am a tellbox tho :( ... :)
btw utg had limp/folded a lot so he didn't enter my thoughts at the time.

    thnx for the input

Stop being results orientated, AKo in a multiway all in pot is not going to win a lot, instafold in any case for me.

reraise instead of calling and now fold.
