Just wondering how many of you golf fans watched the Walker Cup or perhaps even went to it?

I watched it all day Saturday and most of yesterday on BBC and BBC Interactive.

I'd say the lack of wind helped the American no end.

watched most of yesterday, was a bit dissapointed in the morning which really put us on the backfoot and although we made a game of it we never really looked like we had a chance.

Have to say without meaning any offence to the more big boned among us, I was amazed how big Colt Knost was, in these days of athlete golfers and seeming emphasis on fitness and power, it was interesting to see just how unathlethic the no.1 ranked amateur in the world appears to be.

fair play to Moore, that was some shot, i thought edwards was going to beat him in the end, but things had gone astray late saturday and early sunday for GB&I.

I enjoyed watching Saltman wind his oppenent up, especially good to win after how bad he had played all weekend

I was there on the Sunday and it was a great day out. You get close to the players and the venue (RCD) made it easy to get good vantage points.

Have to disagree here. RCD is possibly the worst venue i've been at for watching golf, even though it is a brilliant course. The only saving grace was being able to walk the fairways but nearly every hole seens to play uphill to the green making it very difficult to see

Ok it's a hilly course but there were plenty of good vantage points. I was with my son and he can't see over the crowd.

We found a great spot on the 2nd and spent a lot of time on the 16th in the stand behind the green. We also walked behind the players a good bit and I don't remember any time when we could see the green clearly.

But your opinion is very valid.

I sat behind he 16th tee for a couple of hours on sunday, when McIlroy knocked it on he turned to Jon Parry and winked at him as if to say "i've got him now" :p Was a good spot too

I watched all the matches come in to the 16th bar the last two. It was a great place to watch from and several matches finished on the green.

Oh yeah and there was that woman who lead the cheering on the scoreboard.
