A few years back a few friends and I did a seance in one of the girls houses, cause it was meant to be haunted, and were bored and had nothing else to do. Anyway, we all got in the circle etc, and we saw the same thing in our heads. We finished the seance, and were a bit freaked out.

*/ side note, we did it in the most haunted part of her house- one of the rooms has a dreadfulcold spot, even when the heatings on and the rest of the room is warm */

I went to the downstair loo, one of the girls went to the kitchen, one went to the upstairs loo. I got locked in, on the inside (it was a bot, and i def didn't close it) the girl in the kitchen had the light go out, and the girl upstairs had the tap turn on.

Another time we (different group) did the ouija board (that name never makes sense to me, but anyway), and we got something through, and when we tried to get ridof it, we all felt pinches etc (now you can say that was fake, but read on). THe doors in the large room we were in locked, and the lights went out, the temperature dropped and the boards flew off the table. (none of us were near light switch/door etc to make thus happen)

Is ths type of manisfestation "normal"?

If what happened is as you describe it, then one or more of you has physical mediumship potential.
By the way - what age approximately? (10 year bracket would suffice).
Some phenomena of this kind is inclined to cease after adulthood commences.

Around 15, and around 17. It could be other people, but I was the only one from the first group, who was at the second group.

If someone said the following story:

A few years back we went around to someone that we knew was always in a bad mood and kept pestering them to talk to us. For some reason they didn't great us in a terribly friendly fashion.

Would you not say that they were stupid?

Why did you expect their being dead to help matters?
ouija board (that name never makes sense to me, but anyway)
It's just a trademark of Parker Brothers games. Most likely it refers to the "Yes" on the board (Oui + Ja) though there are other suggested etymologies.
Is ths type of manisfestation "normal"?
    Yes and no.

Yes, it's normal enough for things to act in a pissed off manner if you pester them, just like it's normal for people that poke dogs in the face with a stick to get bitten.

On the other hand; No, because it's not normal to go around poking dogs in the face with a stick.

In other news, putting your fingers into electrical sockets - don't do that either.

loving the sarcasm. we didn't know it was an angry haunting in the first case, and in the second, we were looking for someones gran, and something else pushed through instead. although your theroy is quite good.

May I suggest to you that you leave such matters alone for now? It may be that in the fullness of time an opportunity to be of service to others comes along, but a large dose of life experience is the best foundation for most things.

I appreciate that this might not be what you'd want to be told, but there are no shortcuts to wisdom or sound experience in any sphere of life.

Please bear in mind that the 'law of attraction' is always in operation - like must attract like and this applies more so in our next phase of life, especially.

If you wish to learn a little more, first work at self-improvement across the board, in spiritual matters, in emotional and mental strength and stamina, but above all in trying to get as much and as good an education as possible.
Then, if you are still interested, the door will open for you and your teachers will appear.

    Good luck.

that'll teach you not to go poking a stick in Talliesin's face:D

sounds like a response with a lot of force behind it TBH, Boards ripping off tables!!

I've been looking into this type of thing for some time, I'm slightly under the impression that if I saw something like "boards ripping off the table" that I'd stop, but I don't know for sure.
Anway I always wonder why people repeat a process that schared the **** out of them initially?.

Did you all pick up on the cold spot in the first house, or just you?

    Hauntings aren't generally happy.

In the second you were using a ouija board.

Ouija boards are like walking down a bad neighbourhood in a foreign country, counting through a large amount of cash and saying, "hi. I'm new here and don't know what I'm doing, anyone know somewhere secluded, dark and far away from all law-enforcement where I could buy a drink?" You might be noticed by some nice people but the people you talk to are going to be assholes.

I'm reminded of one of the Death Wish films, where Bronson hangs an expensive camera over his shoulder and goes for a walk in some gangster area, obviously some guy decides to rob it , but Bronson had a plan!

anyway pretty-in-pink sounds like you're onto something at a personal level that others here have experienced before, I'm sure that some of the "gifted" members would contact you via PM if you wanted advice or help.

Oh yeah, it's all pretty common place (the cold being downright typical), but what advice or help do you need beyond "don't do that then"?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,007 ✭✭✭pretty-in-pink

I was wondering if it was a normal thing to happen, or was it really freaky bad vibes. Curious

It's normal and freaky bad vibes.

You did something foolish and it's then normal to have freaky bad vibes.

Hi Pretty in pink, I agree with Telliesin and I dont think it could have been put any better than she/he did. I do feel that Quija boards are best left to those who have a strong and very concrete knowledge in spirit contact and a serious foundation within there own self knowledge also that goes for calling out as well as really you wouldn't just open your door and say Hey come on in to a total stranger, but you know what we all make mistakes and the lesson is to learn from them and move on and try not to repeat it.

The vast majority of whom prefer to do without them. Ouija boards really are the worse type of tools; I'm all for taking risks for the sake of what can be gained, but ouija boards are high risk and not very useful at the same time.

Its not a tool I would use and those who choose to use them do enter into it at their own risk and this is why I feel they are best left to those who have a sound knowledge of what they are doing and the risks involved.

Even those who know how to use them tend not to.

I am not saying they do/should/can/wont.........but fact is they are out there and people do use them. Anyway this is getting off topic so I leave it there.

I get you. My point though is that if you have the knowledge and ability to make use of them then you won't need a ouija board anyway.
