O'Briens Photography Competition 2007 - Theme "Living Earth"

Every year for the past 8 years O'Briens Sandwich Bars run a fantastic global photography competition and this year they are going online for the first time!

They have asked us (pix.ie) to sponsor the hosting of the all the entries and we are absolutely delighted to help out!

To enter, all you have to do is upload your photo(s) and tag them with "OBriensLivingEarth"... how simple is that!

One question what does sausages on a bar-b-que have to do with living earth. I think the lad that submitted those is stretching the theme a bit

Hi Covey, I asked O'Briens about this a few weeks ago and they said they were planning to announce the winner on the 30th Nov (i.e. tomorrow).

I'm as interested as you are to find out who won!

I haven't seen anything yet and I did get an email from pix.ie to say the winners would be announced before the end of November. Hopefully we will hear tomorrow.

I have just heard from O'Briens who have asked me let you know that the announcement of the 6 winners has been postposed until Wednesday 5th Dec.
