My brother doesn't believe me that there was a picture in the paper yesterday of a dog rescued in Dublin with six legs and both male and female genitalia.

I left the paper in work, does anyone have a picture of Spider the Dog?

Aww the poor doggy, I hope it gets a good home now and won't just be used as some freakshow.

In Pandamaran, Malaysia, a puppy born with two extra legs and a second penis was found abandoned at the entrance to the Kwang Sun Temple. People at the temple named it "Ong Fatt" which means "Lucky One".

I suppose it's lucky in that it found a permanent home at the temple. From the looks of it, it must have absorbed one of its brothers while still developing in its mother's womb.

    Lucky indeed.

Edit: Better pic from the bolloxes link.

There was a woman from Ashtowon Dog Pound (?) on the radio today talking about this. It appears that the dog is healthy and in good form and is being fostered by a woman who has four dogs so it can be socialised. It is then going to be operated on in UCD's veterinary college in Ballsbridge and then placed with a family. Dog is very cute, by all accounts.
