My dad is after taking the buffer that came with my bottle of wax, and giving it a go on his jeep, which wasn't very clean to start with. So it's now covered in black sh1t. How can I clean these buffing sponges? Will ordinary water do, or will it ruin it?
    Cheers,
    WP.

You can wash it in your washing machine or in sink, but use liquid not the powder and no conditioner or you can buy them in most Motor Factors as Meguiars sell them also

He was trying to give it a bit of a polish without cleaning first. Cheers guys so, I'll just give it the fairy liquid treatment.
