We will follow it up on the Sunday with an Irish Ranking Event €180+20 singles tournament at 2.00pm. 10,000 starting stack, 30min blinds all the way with all blind levels included. F/O tournament with 100% prize-pool payout.Fully dealer dealt.

Att mods:-If you need me to post more details on the tourneys,I will do so.

Hi Connie, sounds great - I'll definitely be playing this. Just need to find two others to win this thing with me!

Best of luck with this Connie.

I will be on holiday over that weekend so I'm missing a couple of great tournaments.

I will make an announcement at the IPO for you so hopefully you get a few extra players because of that.

i am thinking of putting in a team, tho i cant imagine too many players wanting to play with someone like me
1st off i aint such a nice guy
2nd, with my limited skill level, it could be throwing away good money after bad
if anyone feels desperate enough to need a player (and i use the word player very loosely here) with a beginners skill level, then PM me rather than embarrass yourself by posting here
and for the record, before anyone suggests it, i have no friends to ask
which is probably my own fault too
Killarney is a nice spot to visit, so when i get knocked out, i know there is plenty to see and do
always a bonus, rather than sitting in a train station hoping to an early one home

No probs Matt. BTW, I was talking to Danny, he's got a wedding on the same day so just to put you on notice.

so Danny is finally tieing the knot, well well well
thats great news, but will he still be able to play in the event?
will he be handpicking his team from the guests or does he already have it arranged that the wedding breakfast will be in your place?

i hope the bride wears some kind of shorter than usual dress, them long flowing gowns can play havoc with that nylon carpet

Not A Single Invitation To Join A Team Yet

Why Am I Not Surprised ?

Could Be Something To Do With My Diminished Sanity Or Maybe Its Just My Skill Level Is So Low That Even The Most Desperate, Arent That Desperate

Despite Eveything, I Still Cant Believe Its Not Butter

Derek, we have a regular sub but if he can't make it you're more than welcome on our team. I'll know over the weekend.

LET ME KNOW OVER THE WEEKEND AND I WILL HOLD OFF ON THE DRAW FOR A PLACE ON A TEAM UNTIL MONDAY

    Hi Derek,
If Matt cant fit you in his team, make your travel arrangements anyway. Theres a good few teams down here with 2 decent players looking to fill up so I'll team you up with one of them.

Definitely still on gholi. Think the thread just got lost in the continuum of all the tourneys being advertised at the moment. Hope to see you there.

i spoke to Connie at the IPO who said this may be cancelled due to lack of teams.
Connie can you please confirm if this is still going to go on as we need to make booking etc.?
    many thanks.

    Hi Eshan,
Like I told you in Dublin at the IPO,there are only 10 teams so far that have said they're deffinately playing.Thats about 20 teams short of a full house. Now whether this is because people were focussing on the IPO or not, I'm not sure. But the prize-money for a team event with only 10-15 teams would not be great so my reccommendation is to hold a singles €200 freeze-out,+ €20 reg with a 45 min clock. 10,000 starting chips, all blinds included, fully dealer dealt.Reg at 4pm on Sat oct 13th,play at 5.00pm. This will be an Irish Ranking Event.
We'll follow it up on Sunday with a €100 F/O.

Danny Mann(Eviston House Hotel) available at €55 pps. 06431640

    Hi Connie,

I dont know about everyone else but I'd prefer the 200 f/o and you can definately count me in .Keep us uptodate as to what you decide.
