    trying various uk proxies with firefox but can't get them working with the ITV site.

    pleeeeeease.

    The ITV live streaming only works with IE. You will need to install an ActiveX thingy for it to run.

    I've got the activeX thing for firefox installed, the problem is accessing the stream outside the UK - I think its setup to only allow UK IP addresses. Thats why I was trying UK proxies in firefox, but that didn't work either.

    Any other suggestions?

    If your ISP is UTV internet they have a Belfast based proxy server that you can use - ni-cache.utvinternet.com:80. I'm watching the ITV stream on it at the moment :)
