Anyone any experience of Garden Leaf Blower / Vacuums? Preferably petrol ones?

Only for about 0.3 acres of yard.

IMO, vacuum better as it is a 'Final Solution'

Both can be very very noisy.

Have u a lawnmower that collects grass, it works for me for most of the leaves and stuff

Garden Vac for 0.3 acre, hardly serious? For such a large area you require a mobile ie tank leaf collector, but for more modest areas, the blowers are better.

Vacs tend to clog real easy, they are also much heavier and more cumbersome. Blow to a point and then collect leaf (if required) or disperse the leaf more discreetly.

Stihl offer a range of blowers to suit a range of needs.
