    This may be a mistake because to my knowledge they don't make a 40GB version. Still it's a great buy for a 30GB at that price, compared to other devices.

    nope it does exist, meant to be bulkier than the 30gb though (check archosfans forums as ppl have it). Supposedly some stores get Archos to make different versions compared to the standard 4gb,30gb,80gb and 160gb so that they have no competition.

    hotmp3gear.com though is still the best if you dont get charged import duty. Got my 160gb for 320euros delivered :)

    Was thinking of ordering from there but the site didn't seem the best . I assume the US warranty isn't valid here?

    €320 for the 160GB is a great price. How long did delivery take?

    didnt pay duty and it arrived in 6 days, site is terrible but customer service is very good as they answer any emails very quickly. I read on the archosfans forum of someone from the UK with the last version (archos 604) saying that they bought it from N.America and archos in the Uk fixed it. Its a risk you have to take i suppose. 160gb is great though, i filled up my 30gb creative m way too quickly with xvids. It ***** on any ipod's video playback if you have a lot of xvids/divx. Wifi is great aswell ( streaming the all-ireland build up on from the rte website atm).
