according to the Irish Times a few days ago, heart disease in ireland is down 10% since the introduction of the smoking ban.

Whats your opinions on this? can it primarily be attributed to the smoking ban at such an early stage? Or is it that people have really become more diet/fitness aware over the last 10 years?

The banning of Sunny D has probably been the main if not the whole factor of these figures. That stuff used to make Pigheads heart do somersaults, and not in a good way.
