Different cleats. Bit Smaller (and harder to walk in) but they work well. Those are the same pedals I am using (I paid a lot more), great pedals.

The problem with Keo,s is they are known for giving bad knee,s i would recomend Time RXS pedals so comfortable

Im in two minds whether to buy them or not, i take it shimano (ultegra or dura-ace) use a different cleat,

Isn't this more a problem with user adjustment of the cleats rather than an inherent issue with the cleats?

Well they don't hurt my knees, I used standard look delta cleats beforehand and the Keo's didn't really feel any different. Horses for courses I reckon.

i decided to go with the keo's, there gonna be on my good bike so i wont really be using it during the winter. Gonna just buy a decent pair of sidi shoes(for next year) so changing the cleat's wont be an issue. Is there a durability issue with carbon pedals

No, they look like alloy, I think they are just injection moulded with Carbon or something like that. Bottom line, they look like they are Metal. Mine have been given a good going over and have hit the deck a couple of times, no issues. I haven't heard any first hand accounts of problems with them in this regard.

Check the weight difference? For eg Sprints and the others.
    Not alot.
If you get fit........lose a few Pounds............
They're both practical pedals, Carbon V Sprints.
    We're skimping grams here.
Get decent wheels would be more of an issue.
Going down Glenmacnass this year, W200, not peddaling, on Eastons (Wheels) I, for some reason!!!!!!! passed a few guys.

So did I (on a E215 Halfords bike with 37C tyres).

There's too much wishful thinking regarding bikes and bike components in relation to the difference they make to speed.
