Ok, I have a paypal account for buying stuff on ebay. However im buying some bits for my car from England and am trying to pay via paypal as they dont have a feature setup to just pay with my credit card direct.

Anyway, i clicked on send money and then selected goods and the price and currency and then its whingeing about my credit card or something. When i clicked on send money it asks me to put in the email address im trying to send the money to, which I do. I thought this a bit strange? Should it not look for sompany names or peoples names as opposed to just a sellers email address?

Anyway, heres the exact error its coming up with regarding my credit card, "Authorization Failed

This payment cannot be completed because your credit card has been denied by your credit card issuer. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. You may want to try using a different credit card or choose eCheck instead. To do this, please click the More Payment Options link."

My paypal account status is "Irish - verified"

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong,,, my credit card is ok for money i think. Actually, i dont think it, im only back from New Zealand, :D Ill re-check all that.

I transferred money onto my credit card but im still getting that same error message. Ive an Aib student credit card with a limit of E1000, if i spend more than E1000 on the credit card in a month, have i to wait till the next month before i can buy something else on the credit card???

I was using the cc as an atm card when in New Zealand by transferring money onto the card and withdrawing it, does them withdrawals count as making up the E1000 limit? Hmmmm!

It seems to be more of a validation error rather than an Insufficient funds problem though, i think?

    All help appreciated!
