    Went to the Zoo todasy with herself and camera.

    Bearing in mind some of the advice on Depth of Field i thought I'd try some of the techniques out

    Be as blunt as possible as this is not sports related

    The elephant one is kind of "busy" but the rest are very good. The DOF is perfect with the main subjects nicely isolated. If I had one small gripe it would be that 2 & 4 are slightly overexposed. That should be very easily fixed with a tiny tweak in levels in PS or similar software.

    Thanks for that. looking at the elephants I can see now what you mean by busy.

    No 4 was taken through plate glass in an indoor enclosure (restaurant).

    The elephant one is my faverite... some nice colour contrast there between the background of green/black and the orange/brown of the elephants... really brings their colours out beautifully IMHO.
