Determining the Dealer

I am trying to figure out how the dealer is derernined in online Texas Holdem. I know that every player gets delt a card and its the highest card that becomes the dealer but what happens if two or more people have the same value card?

Then it comes down to suits which are ranked in reverse alphabetical order, so from highest to lowest they are, Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs. the A spades is the highest ranking card in the deck.

Not necessarily wrong, but as far as I am aware, the standard is to deal all players, and it's highest card using reverse alphabetical rule.

No, thats fine. OPften used for time saving. High card and first ace are both used
If seats are drawn, it is often skipped with the dealer being a set seat, eg Seat 1
