    Hey,

I've got a decent sized digital photo collection from gigs, festivals, holidays etc. I'm looking to create a dvd\ slideshow of the different events with music in the background, I also want to add a few effects into it.

Just wondering if anyone has any comments on different software they've used.

I've used pro-show gold and found it excellent. Extremely easy to use, and options of great effects.

You should be able to do a 30 day trial. The more expensive producer doesn't appear worth the extra money, but the gold is.
