vista+network access

i am trying to access a vista pc on my netwok and though i can see it, the vista pc is seeking a password to access it. however there is no password on that pc. anyone any suggestions to get around this.

you enter your username from the vista pc and it may work with a blank password. I had the same issue but i put a password on the vista pc. never tried it without one.

Try turning off password-protected sharing in the Network and Sharing Centre.
