What do you reckon would be a good time to run 10k on a road track with about 1/3rd of it being uphill (hills spread out & various inclines)?

I'm aiming to do it in 55 minutes in a charity run on sunday....what times would you all hope for?

it all depends on your fitness levels and natural speed.

I'd be going for < 42 mins, but I run with people who would
be going for well under 40 mins.

when i was at my best a few months ago i got 39 mins which is quite good for an amateur, the pros can do like 32 mins so id say if your quite fit and there was a few hills 45- 50 mins would be quite good!!

Damo, judging by your boards.ie start date and user name, plus guessing your bro's name begins with "N" and clan begins with "H" then I reckon you are looking at approx 50 mins.

If you break that please let me know ;)
