Going into second year of my engineering degree, into building services and I haven't received anything from DIT yet. Has anyone else got anything yet? Who should I call about this?

Freshers week starts on the 17th, do normal classes start then aswell?

I don't know if they send anything out to you. The academic calendar says lectures start on Sept 17th. http://www.dit.ie/DIT/academic/calendar/index.html

Fresher's week starts on the 17th as well, and there's no point having Ents if there's nobody about!

There's a thread below about checking your timetable online.

This would be true but unlike unis in the UK and the like we super kind people at DITSU want everyone to be in on the fun of Fresher's week so it's organised for the week after the new people register and get their tour.

All lectures should start back on or about the 17th along with lots of ents on every site in DIT to celebrate the cracking new term.

DIT don't do communication. It's not their thing.
